Tō Art 嚮渡 aspires to be an experimental ground, a conceptual incubator on which ideas will be tested and contested, implemented and refined by artists and curators in-house and their guests, and culminate in exhibitions, public events, and archives of art and research works.
Our art house was founded in 2023 on the top floor of a factory building by the hills of the Fo Tan valley. To facilitate complete art-making processes, its 810 square meter interior is flexibly assigned to a gallery, two artist studios and a research library. Together with the 580 square meter outdoor terrace garden overlooking the hills and the town, we envision an urban oasis for the local art community, in which art of our time will thrive.
